Are indoor cameras allowed if I tell the guest they are there?
Airbnb has a strict global ban on all indoor security cameras, even if they are disclosed and in common areas. Using indoor cameras can result in immediate, permanent removal from the platform. We ensure your property remains compliant by using only allowed outdoor cameras and non-recording noise monitors.
Our preferred smart locks and sensors often feature offline functionality or cellular backup. If Wi-Fi drops, guest codes that have already been synced will continue to work, and many sensors will store data locally until the connection is restored, ensuring no gap in protection.
Can the noise monitors hear what my guests are saying?
No. The technology we use measures only decibel levels (volume) and cannot record or transmit audio or speech. This protects your property from noise complaints while fully respecting the Privacy Act and guest confidentiality.
Our goal is invisible security. We choose technology that makes life easier for the guest (like high-quality keyless pads that eliminate the need for app downloads) ensuring that while your property is bulletproof from a management perspective, the guest simply feels they are staying in a modern, professional, and high-end home.
